Inventor of wacky costume teeth pitches flossing pilot program

POTLATCH -The man who invented those large, plastic, decayed Billy-Bob Teeth costume prop now is encouraging kids to floss.

The Potlatch dentist created the Floss Across America campaign. His slogan is -- "No Smile Left Behind."

He says it's important to teach children good flossing habits. That's why he started the nonprofit campaign.

Bailey, crafted a spin-off of the Billy-Bob Teeth. The program prop has two buck teeth that can be flossed using small rope.

He'll use that to pitch for healthy teeth cleaning habits to elementary schools in Lewiston, Moscow, Potlatch and the Post Falls area. He's using the northern Idaho schools to test the program.

He says he wants to give back because he's been accused of earning a living off other people's afflictions.

The pilot programs begin in February.

But..... do you think flossing will be enough for these folks?
