Colorado Man Finds Tooth in Carton of Ice Cream?

Thankfully no.
A Colorado man got quite the shock when he went to the freezer for an after dinner snack Thursday night.

Like many people Kenneth Smalley enjoys a little bit of ice cream every now and then. This time he opted for the Shoppers Value chocolate chip ice cream from the local Albertson’s.

While savoring the chunks of chocolate he found something that just didn't belong. "All the sudden there was a chocolate chip that wasn't melting," says Smalley.

It didn't take Smalley long to figure out what he had in his mouth wasn't chocolate at all.
"When I removed it from my mouth it appeared to be a human tooth. I'm mortified, you know, it's like mwuuummmpp," he says making a gagging gesture.

So Smalley let NBC affiliate KKCO take the tooth-shaped object to get tested.

Smalley says he just wanted to know the truth. "There was a foreign object in my ice cream which does not belong there," he says.
Well, it wasn't a tooth but a tooth shaped piece of plastic.

But, how did the plastic get into the ice cream?
